Roland was an excellent guide for our first time in Malaga. He was punctual, professional and knowledgeable both in history and cultural events of the city. We had a great private tour around Malaga with Meike, through Malaga Private Tours. We only booked the night before but correspondance was quick and correct and everthing perfectly arranged. Meike speaks her languages very well, and has lived in Malaga for a long time and knows everthing you want to know about history, culture, local society and also provides valuable tips for the remainder of your stay. Do not hesitate to book with them, it was our best tour-guide experience in years!

We traveled with Roland to Ronda & Tangiers in December of 2018. We enjoyed the tours so much that when we visited this year with our family we wanted to tour with him. Roland was very flexible and accommodating [and the TBL staff were very helpful] when we had to make adjustments. Roland is very knowledgeable about the history of Ronda. He made the tour interesting to our diverse group (even the children) as we walked around this town built "on" a gorge. We especially enjoyed the bull-fighting ring.

To travel to Granada, we had a nine passenger van that was a bit uncomfortable for 9 passengers, so Roland offered to take 2-3 of us with him in his very comfortable AUDI sedan. Roland is very knowledgeable about Granada, its history, its architecture and the diversity of cultures and people that have populated it through the centuries. He was very patient with the children (and the parents) and sought to make the trip more enjoyable for all of us. He chose a great restaurant nearby for our tired group.

Roland has a very extensive knowledge about the history of Malaga. Very nice pace walking tour through the streets of Malaga and learned a lot in a very short period of time. He is very friendly and involves you in his way to the trip rather than just providing information only. I will highly recommend Roland for your tour guide.

This was our third day in a row with Roland. We hated to leave him. He is full of information and history about Spain, Tangiers, and Rock of Gibraltar. It was an amazing 3 days. He was so kind and went out of his way to make our trips interesting and fun. He is wonderful! I would book with him again if I return to Malaga.

Roland is an excellent tour guide. He was able to give us a working historical knowledge of Malaga. Really enjoyed seeing the marketplace and the old city. Lunch at Pimpi was especially flavourful. Would highly recommend Roland for a personal Picasso Museum guide. He made the visit very mentally stimulating.
